It is a small hamlet, located near Ranikhet in the Kumaon region of the northern state of Uttarakhand.

where, the holy cave, where Mahavtar Babji taught the Kriya Yoga to Lahiri Mahasaya in 1861.

Dwarahat is home to 8 temples from the 10th-12th century, most of which are pyramid shapes, made of stones.
